We are looking for a professional, high-energy Service Advisor who can act as the vital link between our customers and our world-class technicians.

Job Description

Vaughn Ford of Zachary is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you are the face of the service department. You will be responsible for greeting guests, consulting on vehicle maintenance and repair needs, and ensuring a seamless, transparent experience from drop-off to delivery.

The ideal candidate is a "people person" with a strong technical understanding who can explain complex repairs in a way that is easy for customers to understand. We provide a professional environment where your ability to build trust and provide solutions directly impacts your earning potential.

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday

  • No Weekends

Pay
  • 6% of parts and labor

Work Requirements
  • Ability to commute to Zachary, LA required

  • In-person position

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor (Ford experience is a major plus)

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally to initiate the service experience

  • Conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds and document customer concerns accurately

  • Act as a consultant, advising customers on necessary maintenance and repair items based on manufacturer recommendations

  • Provide accurate cost estimates and clear timelines for repair completion

  • Maintain constant communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles

  • Work closely with Technicians and the Parts Department to ensure efficient workflow

  • Close out repair orders and explain all work performed to the customer during delivery

  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores in accordance with Ford standards

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced retail or service environment

  • General knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance requirements

  • Proficiency with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and service scheduling software

  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of repair orders simultaneously

  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
