Position Summary:

At Kriete Truck Centers, our Parts Delivery Drivers play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of heavy-duty truck parts and equipment to our customers. This position is customer-facing and requires a high level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. Delivery drivers are responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our customers while ensuring parts are delivered safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, other dealership locations, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers through professional and courteous interactions.
  • Verify that delivered parts and equipment match invoices before leaving the dealership and at the time of delivery.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles while ensuring parts are handled with care.
  • Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely service.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, including fueling, oil levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
  • Return undelivered parts and complete paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with stocking and organizing inventory as needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and traffic regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Previous experience in parts delivery, inventory management, or customer service is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Ability to visually inspect small defects and accurately interpret delivery invoices.
  • Must work safely in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
  • Previous experience in the automotive, trucking, or parts industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
