Overview
Dealer
A Table Games Dealer is responsible for providing an entertaining experience for guests while dealing casino games according to the rules of the game being played.
Responsibilities
  • Deals a variety of casino games.
  • Handles cards, dice, chips, and gaming devices such roulette wheels and craps sticks.
  • Handles player transactions.
  • Notifies Casino Games Supervisor of any irregularities, or disputes that may arise during game.
  • Promotes positive guest relations using cordial conversation as related to assigned games.
  • Responsible for dealing assigned game in accordance with Casino Control Commission / Division of Gaming Enforcement regulations and procedures.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to deal multiple carnival games.
  • Must have availability Monday - Thursday.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license prior to interview.
  • Either dealing experience or that experience acquired in dealers' school.
  • Experience working with public helpful.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
