Job description

The Dealer Relationship Specialist (Inside Sales) will be a highly motivated and creative individual to develop and expand relationships with key personnel in auto dealerships. The aim will be to enhance OneMain Auto's lending footprint and increase loan volume nationwide.

In the role

  • Foster direct communication with dealership partners, delivering best-in-class customer service.

  • Work independently to establish new dealership partnerships and expand the network of franchise and independent dealerships in your assigned region.

  • Identify and prospect new markets to build a robust dealership base.

  • Collaborate with existing partners to engage with non-participating and underperforming dealerships.

  • Manage existing markets remotely to drive growth in current territories.

  • Travel to assigned markets as necessary.

  • Cultivate a positive, collaborative environment within the team.

  • Support other departments as business needs require.

  • Ensure adherence to OneMain Auto's policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective engagement in this role

  • Must possess strong self-direction, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a driven work ethic

  • Ability to thrive independently while contributing to a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

  • Preferred experience in auto dealership/lender sales/finance or dealer sales representative, is beneficial but not essential
