Job description

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Players Club Supervisor, Players Club Attendant is responsible for assisting the needs of every customer in a variety of duties, to provide excellent customer service to BlueWater Resort & casino guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Players Club Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the Players Club. Players Club Attendants utilizes good customer and communications skills while dealing with patrons. Personally greets by name if possible, guests of the casino. Help enrolls patrons in the Players Club. Be knowledgeable of all promotions, general area information, etc., to assist patrons. Issues and replaces all THEclub cards and handles various responsibilities including giving directions, explaining how to use offers associated with the club card. Assists with Slot Tournaments as needed for registration of guests and other duties assigned to Marketing for slot tournaments. Assist Marketing in all promotions, special events, sponsorship events, offsite events and entertainment support. Players Club Attendant is responsible and accountable for all data of adjustments for Free Slot Play, etc, made by reconciling and providing justification of these adjustments. Assist in the distribution of casino promotional flyers to R/V parks and small businesses in and around the surrounding community. Performs other duties as required or assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations, promotions, and marketing in a customer service oriented environment. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment. Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic. Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English. Ability to apply basic mathematical skills. Ability to work all hours, weekends and holidays. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED required. Basic computer knowledge preferred. Must possess a great smile, positive attitude, pleasant personality, and professional demeanor. Must possess the ability to make eye contact while speaking. Must be able to work any shift/day and holidays if required to do so. Must maintain a clean professional appearance. Must have a Valid Driver's License. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally performed in an Indoor office and Casino environment with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Position is in a fast-paced environment. Will have contact with employees, external agencies and the public. Evening and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
