Summary:
River Room Social Club is Houston's newest luxury destination for big poker action, large tournaments, events, good drinks and eats. Our grand opening is this Winter 2022 and our growing business is in search of customer service minded individuals who are looking for a place to build and grow; a place to excel; a place to truly make a difference. If you are looking to play a key role in innovating the future of gaming in Texas and be challenged in a fast paced and exciting environment, this is the place for you.
Please note this position is for both Dealer & Chip Attendant.
Dealer:
• Deal effectively and efficiently all poker games assigned.
• Greets players and provides excellent customer service.
• Maintain focus, attention, integrity and compliance to table gaming activities and procedures including the security of table tray amounts.
• Keen eye to detect any suspicious activity, discrepancies or mistakes in games that could disrupt the flow of the game or create a potentially hazardous condition.
Chip Attendant:
• Ensures the proper flow of all poker games by providing the sales of gaming chips to customers and dealers.
• Greet customers and oversee the efficient sales of gaming chips in the assigned areas
• Maintain assigned stationary bank, counting in and out the bank in accordance to procedure, abide by Chip Runner compliance policy and procedures noted in Training Package.
• Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum one (1) year dealing experience and customer relations experience
• High school diploma and/or dealer certification.
• Attend extensive training in dealing techniques, policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent customer relations, knowledge of cash handling, and organization skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Effective communication and must be highly motivated.
