Description:

Delta Leasing is seeking additional Non-Mobile Technicians to join our growing Leasing and Maintenance operation located throughout Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.


This Non-Mobile Mechanic will possess the ability to diagnose and repair various models and sizes of non-mobile equipment such as, but not limited to, Portable Light Plants, Mobile Heaters, Air Compressors, Generators, Bull Rails, Pressure Washers, Welders, among other types of equipment.


Duties will be performed across multiple sites, including our North Slope shop facilities as well as remote field locations. Work will include field retrieval and repair of equipment, including working in all types of adverse weather conditions.

This position schedule is rotational, based out of our facilities in Deadhorse, Alaska.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Candidate must be a self-starter

· Duties will be performed across multiple locations, including Delta’s North Slope Maintenance Facility, remote shops, and field locations.

· Diagnose and repair a various equipment as assigned, including a large fleet of non-mobile and other equipment

· Work will include field retrieval and repair of equipment, working outside in all types of adverse conditions and inclement weather

· Exhibit discipline to conduct work safely and embrace Delta Leasing’s Safety culture

· Personal dedication to high quality workmanship at all times

· Ability to work in coordination with other mechanics or alone as per the requirements of the task

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of mechanic experience
  • Experience working on diverse makes / models / types of equipment
  • Hands-on experience working with engine repair, generator and heat-exchange components
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, functional, and electrical issues
  • Basic computer proficiency for use of our Technician Fleet software (training will be provided)
  • Ability to work productively and safely unaccompanied for extended periods of time and in isolated locations
  • Candidates must exhibit a high level of personal integrity and quality of craftmanship
  • Willingness to learn new skills, including repair of different types and models of equipment
  • Willing to foster a positive working environment as a member of a team
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively and professionally with clients, coworkers, individuals both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to work multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and function in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Unwavering commitment to conduct work Safely, including commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for all work locations, and compliance with customer’s environmental and regulatory requirements

PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Prior North Slope experience, and/or working in remote locations, inclement conditions
  • Hands-on experience with Kubota, CAT, Allmand, ESI, Doosan, Shindaiwa, Wacker Neuson
  • Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
