Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Core Developer to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills and hands-on experience using Claude Code (or similar AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor) to accelerate software development while ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable code. AI-assisted development is increasingly becoming a key expectation for senior engineering roles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable .NET Core applications.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Drive application modernization and migration from legacy .NET Framework to .NET 8/9.
Mentor and guide development teams through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
Leverage Claude Code to improve developer productivity, automate repetitive coding tasks, generate unit tests, and accelerate refactoring while validating AI-generated code before production.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical roadmap discussions.
Promote engineering best practices including Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in C# and .NET development.
Strong expertise in:
.NET Core / .NET 8+
ASP.NET Core
C#
Entity Framework Core
SQL Server
REST APIs
Microservices
Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL).
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Architecture, and DDD.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
Proficiency with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
AI & Claude Code Requirements
Hands-on experience using Claude Code or equivalent AI coding assistants in daily development workflows.
Ability to review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
Experience creating effective prompts for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.
Knowledge of AI-assisted software development practices, human-in-the-loop review processes, and engineering guardrails.
Familiarity with AI-powered code modernization and legacy migration strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React, Angular, or Blazor.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude APIs, or other LLM integrations.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
Experience leading teams of 5–15 developers.
