Belchertown, MA | Monday-Friday | Full-Time
About the Role
Arbor Associates is seeking a dependable and professional Receptionist to join our Belchertown team on a Monday through Friday schedule. This is a front-office clerical role in a behavioral health and education setting. While our clients and programs serve children, this position does not involve direct work with children - candidates should simply feel at ease in an environment where children may be present.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette
  • Manage front-desk operations and maintain a welcoming office environment
  • Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, correspondence, and scheduling
  • Prepare and format documents using word processing software
  • Support administrative staff with general office duties as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical assistant or receptionist experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional interpersonal skills with a welcoming, composed demeanor
  • Proficiency in word processing applications (Microsoft Word or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and professional telephone etiquette
  • Comfortable working in a behavioral health and education environment where children may be present
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
