Commitment: Part-time, must be available once a week for practices in Leesburg and occasional match coverage
About DC Power FC
DC Power FC is dedicated to elevating women's soccer and creating a dynamic experience for players and fans. We are looking for a passionate and skilled photographer to help capture the energy, dedication, and spirit of our team.
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Part-Time Photographer to join our team and help visually tell the story of DC Power FC. The ideal candidate should be able to attend weekly team practices in Leesburg, VA, and provide high-quality images for use across our digital platforms, marketing materials, and social media.
Responsibilities
  • Attend at least one practice per week in Leesburg, VA, and capture high-quality action and candid shots of players and coaching staff.
  • Cover select home and away matches as needed.
  • Edit and deliver a curated selection of images in a timely manner for social media, website, and promotional use.
  • Collaborate with the media and marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and storytelling.
  • Organize and archive photos efficiently for future use.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sports photography, preferably soccer.
  • Own professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR or mirrorless) and editing software.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and capture high-quality action shots.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and sports photography techniques.
  • Reliable transportation to attend practices in Leesburg and other team events as required.
  • A passion for women's soccer and storytelling through photography.
  • Selected candidate(s) must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with sports teams or athletic organizations.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and digital content strategies.

Compensation
This is a part-time, contract position with competitive compensation based on experience. Travel expenses may be covered for select assignments.
