Compensation Pay Range: $21.85 - $25.35

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

To operate fork trucks and stock pickers in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Process orders requiring the use of a fork truck or stock picker for the outbound operations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process all outbound orders requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker.
  • Responsible for stocking all rack merchandise and arranging rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner.
  • Responsible for setting down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled.
  • Perform any miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
  • Replenish outbound totes as needed, where applicable.
  • Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
  • Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
  • Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Explain specific job duties and functions to help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Experience Required:
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment
  • Working knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
Desired:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience operating various type of power equipment
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
