OVERVIEW:

2nd Shift Opportunity

Monday - Thursday

4:00pm-2:30am

$20.05/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Inventory Integrity, shrink control and profit protection.

  • Conduct and assist in internal investigations (theft, dishonesty, policy violations, human resources) in the DC.

  • Conduct and assist with external investigations related to cargo theft to and from the DC's.

  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly audits

  • Conduct lane inspections/ carton scans to improve operational accuracy and document in LPMS / DSGiQ (case management systems)

  • Compile and reconcile data for Seal Verification reporting.

    • Researches, resolves and documents discrepancies.

  • Review inventory adjustment details in order to research high dollar losses.

  • Complete store research to identify & resolve misdirected freight issues.

    • This includes variance investigations for DC & field related issues.

  • Partner with Federal Authorities in relation to Firearms control and reporting.

Report all findings to database, email contacts and immediate alerts if within criteria.

Safety and Emergency Preparedness

  • Work closely with Operations & Leadership team to investigate incidents which includes document review, visual inspections. Clearly communicate findings with internal & external stakeholders.

  • Serve as support for potentially volatile terminations and /or situations within location.

  • Supports accident investigations with video review and detailed reporting.

Conduct weekly / monthly / quarterly Safety Assessments to ensure overall safety compliance and reports findings.

Physical Security and Investigations

  • Responsible for security screening all people entering/exiting the facility per DSG requirements.

  • Test, troubleshoot and respond to all alarm systems (burglar, Fire & Amarok [perimeter electrified fence])

  • Opening/Closing of DC facility per DSG guidelines without supervision

  • Complete building walkthrough multiple times throughout daily shift

    • Focusing on misdirected freight, safety, physical security, firearm security, & deterrence

  • Knowledge of Genetec system, create access control badges & ensure all building credentials are accurate.

  • Complete daily observations of facility and document /address opportunities.

Conduct and / or support investigations in regard to concerns or violations of the physical security of assigned location and report findings.

Yard Management

  • Assist guard shack as needed with inbound/outbound trailer procedures. Provide physical control of guard shack and perform duties for emergency coverage if / when needed.

  • Resolve daily logs to allow proper YMS (Yard Management System) workflows to be followed.

  • Assist with passive yard control requests.

  • Reconcile Yard Audit results to ensure yard accuracy.

  • Provide direction to 3rd party staff.

Conduct and / or support investigations in to concerns or violations of trailer yard of location and report findings.

Other

  • Conduct Social Engineering Drills with the stores on a regular basis.

  • Assigned schedule can be temporary / permanently changed as needed for the needs of the business.

  • Help maintain inventory of LP Supplies & distribute store orders.

  • Serve as resource/provide guidance to warehouse teammates for a variety of topics.

  • Must be available to be on call during off hours.

  • Must be flexible to cover additional hours to provide support during special projects and facility overtime.

  • Assist in New Hire orientation for Loss Prevention introduction for new Teammates.

  • Support other departments in investigations, presence or as needed. i.e., Human Resources, Operations, Logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1-3 years experience

  • Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Profit Protection, Operations, Safety, Logistics

  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 10-50 pounds intermittently.

  • Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.
