Job Title: Maintenance Technician or Electro-Mechanical TechnicianForemost Farms is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians and Electro-Mechanical Technicians to support the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our production equipment and facility systems. These roles play a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring safe, high-quality operations.Candidates may be considered for a Maintenance Technician I, II, or III or Electro-Mechanical Technician role based on experience and technical expertise.Position Overview: Maintenance TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Focuses on broad mechanical maintenance and facility support accross multiple systemsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systemsTroubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, power transmission systems, and industrial equipmentInstall, align, dismantle, and relocate machinery and equipmentPerform welding, fabrication, and basic carpentry to support operationsSupport preventive and predictive maintenance programsUtilize CMMS to document work and manage parts inventoryPosition Overview: Electro-Mechanical TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Focuses on advanced electrical systems, controls, and automationTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and control panelsInstall and maintain AC/DC motors, VFDs, and motion control equipmentInterpret electrical schematics and technical documentationPerform electrical installations and major system repairsSupport automation, controls, and continuous improvement initiativesPartner with engineering and production on complex system issuesShared Responsibilities (Both Roles):Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenanceCollaborate with production and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issuesFollow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash standardsMaintain accurate records in CMMS and complete work ordersSupport inventory control and parts orderingCommunicate equipment status and maintenance updatesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentSupport and mentor team members as neededEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED required5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentTechnical degree or certification preferredStrong mechanical background including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and welding/fabrication.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsExperience with CMMS systems and maintenance toolsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsAdditional for Electro-Mechanical Technicians:Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related technical field required.Strong experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and automationKnowledge of AC/DC circuits, VFDs, and instrumentationWork Environment & Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, work in confined spaces and at heights.Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.Exposure to noise, temperature changes, and moving equipmentAvailability for overtime, weekends, and on-call support as neededBenefits:Health, Vision, Dental, and Prescription InsurancePaid vacation and holidaysRetirement PlanFlexible spending accounts for medical and dependent careLife and disability insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) for extra support when you need itDaily pay option get paid when you want!Plenty of opportunities to advance your career
