Job description

Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by the proper handling of product.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performance any tasks that is required by DC leadership, especially in area of specific designation (e.g. Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance, etc.).
Research inventory discrepancies.
Keep all work areas neat and clean, including clean up of any spills that occur while performing job duties.
Observe all safety rules and regulations.
Team Members with experience may be designed as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all document action is completed. Trainers are responsible to explain specific job duties/functions. To help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey all departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
All other duties as assigned by DC Management team.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Basic computer skills.
Must complete and pass company-standardized test.
Must be able to work closely and well with others.
Must be able to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately
Desired:
Experience in warehouse environment.
Alphanumeric stocking or RF directed stocking experience.
Familiar with automotive parts.
Advanced computer skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
