Job description

Traffic Camera Operator Location: Norristown, PA Pay Rate: $19.50-20.00/hour Shift: Day and night shift- 10-12-hour shifts.

  • 1st shift can start as early as 3am and 3rd shift can start as early at 5pm
  • Will average 32-40 hours per week (Weather permitting)
Job Description:
  • Must be flexible to various shifts on weekdays, and weekends.
  • Must be willing to sit in a vehicle for long periods at a time.
  • This position requires working closely with the local DMV to enforce speeding regulations in construction zones.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up/take down camera equipment
  • Monitor vehicle speeds at assigned locations
  • Process paperwork accurately for court deployment forms.
  • Local travel within the jurisdiction assigned or travel within the State of Pennsylvania
  • Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessary.
  • Communicate with supervisor and other operators
  • Responsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from sites and while representing the company at any time.
  • Log and report equipment-related issues
Requirements:
  • Clear driving record is required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be 21 years of age or older per client.
  • Drug and Background screening
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform job at a high level with little supervision
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Intermediate knowledge of operating computers and related equipment
  • Steel toe shoes required
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs
