Position Hours: 2nd Shift (4pm - 12:30 AM) Monday-Friday
Salary Range: 70-80k
The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor I for their McDonough, GA facility. This position oversees the inventory and staff within the warehouse. This role involves coordinating a team that receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and supplies. It requires a thorough understanding of the relevant policies, procedures, and practices, as well as leading and directing the work of other employees.
Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Assists the DC Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
  • Schedules and oversees shipping, inventory, auditors, and maintenance staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Schedules, manages, and invoices maintenance repairs in the building.
  • Completes specified reports at the assigned frequency.
  • Manages physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Purchases supplies for the site when needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. A College Degree in Business Management or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Warehousing, Distribution, or Logistics required. 1+ Year in Leadership strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and organizational skills, and mid-level project management skills required.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, and standard math skills required.
  • Ability to regularly lift 20+ pounds required.
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time is required.
