Job Description

The DC 3rd Class Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment at CMI’s customer site in Washington, DC.

Shift - Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:00

Key Job Functions

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnoses and repairs to facilities equipment, fixtures, and property including but not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems controls, building automation systems, carpentry, painting, masonry, appliance repairs, minor grounds work and effectively perform minor and /or skilled maintenance tasks at customer facilities, property, fixtures, electrical and mechanical systems, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose and correct infrastructure problems with facilities, equipment, and property
  • Safely and effectively perform minor and /or skilled maintenance tasks on customer facilities, property, fixtures, electrical and mechanical systems, and equipment
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3rd Class DC License is required
  • Knowledge of systems which include but not limited to performing diagnostics and repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing repairs, toilets, sinks, domestic water system, etc
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of engineering and building systems
