Job description

Job Summary:
E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to support a critical Department of the Navy task order. The role involves maintenance, performance tuning, and security of production and development databases, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities:
• Provide DBA and maintenance support for Oracle and Microsoft SQL database management systems and applications.
• Perform proactive performance tuning, routine maintenance, scheduled backups, archiving, and system upgrades.
• Conduct patch testing and validation in development environments prior to production rollout.
• Maintain accurate, detailed library documentation of system and database configurations.
• Support backend database development and collaborate with developers on full-stack initiatives.
• Assist in database activities required to achieve and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
• Must hold relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
• Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, TOAD, and Visual Studio.
