DBA Managers, or Database Administrator Managers, are IT professionals responsible for overseeing a team of database administrators. They ensure the organization’s databases run efficiently, securely, and are properly maintained. Their duties include managing database performance, implementing security policies, planning backup and recovery strategies, and coordinating with other IT staff for database-related projects. DBA Managers also play a key role in hiring, training, and evaluating database team members.

What are some common challenges faced by a DBA manager when overseeing large database teams?

DBA Managers frequently encounter challenges such as balancing workload distribution among team members, ensuring high availability and performance of databases, and keeping up with rapidly changing technologies.
