Learn more about our benefits. An SAP HANA Administrator, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK Admin is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing databases and pipeline databases. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting both project and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Configuration Install and configure SAP HANA database systems, including multitenant (MDC) and scaleout environments. Deploy and configure SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, SAP Host Agent, and related components.

Perform system provisioning, including tenant database creation and system renaming. 2. System Administration Manage system start/stop, parameter tuning, and system health checks.

Perform regular housekeeping tasks such as log management, disk management, and memory optimization. Monitor CPU, memory, network, and disk usage using HANA Cockpit, DBACOCKPIT, and OS tools. 3.

Backup, Recovery & DR Design and implement backup and recovery strategies (file, storage snapshots, Backint). Validate and perform system refreshes, recoveries, and disaster recovery testing. Manage HANA system replication (HSR) and failover operations.

4. Security & User Administration Manage roles, privileges, users, and authentication methods. Ensure compliance with security policies, encryption (SSL/TLS), auditing, and secure store configurations.

Coordinate periodic security patching and system hardening. 5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and memory pressure.

Work with development and functional teams to optimize SQL queries and models. 6. Upgrades & Patching Plan and execute HANA version upgrades,QLIK, Db2 .

Apply SAP Notes and maintain current documentation of change activities. 7. Landscape Support Support SAP Application Databases - SAP Hana, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK Collaborate with BASIS, infra, networking, and storage teams.

Manage multienvironment landscapes: DEV, QA, UAT, PROD. 8. Troubleshooting Diagnose system failures, performance issues, and replication problems.

Interface with SAP OSS to resolve complex incidents. Respond to system alerts and provide oncall support when required. 9.QLIK Admin: Configuration of QLIK and setup the endpoint connections Fixing QLIK interface issues with Source database and target Databricks Coordination with other teams Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 administration, Db2, QLIK and MAXDB Database Administration

Experience with Linux OS administration (SUSE/RHEL). Knowledge of HANA architecture, Db2 Architecture, QLIK, BDC, memory management, and column-store concepts. Experience with HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Familiarity with SAP, NetWeaver, and SAP application integration. Proficiency in SQL, performance monitoring, and trace analysis. Understanding of cloudbased deployments Azure Soft Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in 24/7 support environments and handle production-critical issues. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

12+ years of experience in SAP HANA and Database administration SAP certifications (optional but preferred): SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: No The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
