As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be required to install, configure, test & deploy mainframe system software components across multiple sysplexes; provide technical support to MIS & End Users and coach junior staff. In addition, this position will require general platform support - including troubleshooting, issue resolution and on-call duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring and supporting the z/OS platform software:
Using z/OS, SMP/e and Mainframe JCL, System Utilities
Experience with DB2 for z/os installation and support or DB2 LUW install and support
Experience with IBM Administration Tool, IBM Query Monitor
Programming experience in one or more of the following languages - REXX, CLIST, SAS, Cobol, ASM
Working knowledge of - CA-7, CA-OPSMVS
Working knowledge of Syncsort, ISPF, ISPF Dialogs, REXX, CA-ACF2, DF/DSS, IDCAMS, Unix System Services
Familiarity with TCP/IP, NDM, Securing Ports, VSAM, User Exits, Sharepoint, JIRA, Topaz, Service Now, incident and change processes
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams
Experience with Project Planning, Mainframe Security, disaster recovery and business continuity
