Roles & Responsibilities
Senior Mainframe Developer COBOL, DB2, CICS with .NET Experience
We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and working knowledge of .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing critical enterprise applications while supporting integration between Mainframe and distributed .NET platforms.
Experience in Mainframe modernization programs, Knowledge of Micro Focus COBOL or IBM z/OS Connect.
understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and support Mainframe applications.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and IMS.
• Perform production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Create and optimize DB2 queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
• Design and implement interfaces between Mainframe and .NET applications.
• Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and operational procedures.
• Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements in enterprise environments.
