Role: Technology Lead - Oracle PLSQL and Sybase
Duration: Full TIme / Permanent
Location: New York / Weehawken New Jersey
Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
At least 4 years of experience in the following areas :
- Expert level PLSQL development on Sybase 12.5,15.0 and Oracle 11.0.
- SQL Development -Understand business requirements and create data feeds for downstream systems, Ad-hoc business reporting.
- Performance Tuning-Tune SQL / DB parameters for aiding application performance
- Sybase DB Replication-Understand and resolve Sybase (master-master) replication issues
- Oracle DB Replication- Golden Gate/Data Guard and oracle 11g RAC Architecture
- Unix shell scripting, Perl-Work on Unix platform
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica.
Ability to Take ownership of DB environments
Ability to Plan and implement DB releases as per application enhancements
At least 2 years of experience working on DB objects designing for incoming / outgoing data
At least 2 years of experience working on Administration of DB Issues / provide technical help to support Teams
At least 2 years of experience working on Database maintenance Device DB Capacity & Statistics collection plans
At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience to Financial Services or Capital Markets domain
Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
