Job description

Ginsberg's Foods in Hudson, NY is looking to hire a full-time Day Warehouse Associate! No experience required!
Are you a dedicated team player that likes operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment and receive a paid workout? If so, then the Day Warehouse Associate at Ginsberg's Foods may be the right fit for you!
The Day Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving incoming products, unloading and sorting the product, replenishing, pulling and loading freight, and performing dock clerk duties when necessary.
To perform this job, you must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that range from 1lb - 80lbs.
Weekly Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Compensation: Starting at $20/hr.
Essential Job Requirements:
  1. Receives, unloads, sorts, replenishes, pulls and loads freight.
  2. Supports the functions of the Dock Clerk and Receiving Clerk when necessary.
  3. Supports the picking and product loading functions for Will Call customers.
  4. Uses an automated voice pick system to pick orders from the Dry, Cooler and Freezer sections of the warehouse.
  5. Replenishes product in the appropriate pick slots.
  6. Loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.
  7. Builds and wraps pallets in a manner that allows for safe transport of the product.
