Part-Time Library Clerk

Brevard County is an EEO and Veteran's Preference employer. Part-time position available with a variable work schedule that includes evenings and Saturdays. The hourly rate is $14.99, with actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. This position is located in the Central Area/Suntree/Viera Public Library and involves experienced office and clerical work providing customer service primarily in the Circulation section of the library through data entry, processing, and maintenance of fines, fees, files, and records.

Requirements: Six (6) months of paid or volunteer experience in general library work; OR six (6) months of clerical or retail work which included strong customer service skills. Special requirements include the possibility of being assigned to another library when usage statistics change and the need to perform emergency duties during hurricanes or major disasters.
