Daytime custodians are cleaning and maintenance professionals who work during regular daytime hours to keep buildings, such as schools, offices, or hospitals, clean, safe, and well-maintained. Their duties typically include sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, restocking supplies, and addressing maintenance issues that arise during the day. Daytime custodians play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary environment for staff, visitors, and occupants. They may also assist with event setup or respond to immediate cleaning needs as they occur. Their presence during the day ensures quick response to spills, accidents, or other urgent maintenance situations.
