Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:

  • Maintain and strictly abide by State sanitation/Health regulations and Hotel requirements.
  • Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co‐workers to their understanding.
  • Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guide.
  • Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
  • Meet with Head Cook/Sous Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to the job performance.
  • Inform F amp;B service staff of 86ʹd items and amount of available menu specials throughout the meal period.
  • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements.
  • Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
  • Breakdown work station and complete closing duties

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year of experience as a Cook at a Hotel or Restaurant
  • Full Service Hotel Restaurant experience, preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.
  • Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds.
  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that includes nights, holidays, and weekends
