Job description

As a Daycare Teacher, you will be an integral member of a large educational team, reporting directly to the Center Director. Your primary role involves supervising young children, implementing established curriculum, and engaging regularly with parents to support each child's growth and development. You will contribute to a nurturing environment while maintaining accurate records and effective communication within the daycare center.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure safety of children at all times
  • Implement lesson plans based on established curriculum
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and activities
  • Maintain accurate records related to attendance, behavior, and development

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Card

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in early childhood education
  • Knowledge of child development principles
  • Skills in classroom management and lesson planning
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Strong communication, patience, creativity, and teamwork abilities
