Job description

Job Title: Day Porter
Reports To: Franchise Supervisor/ Franchise Manager
Summary:
This position is responsible for keeping all areas clean, sanitary, and stocked. Will be responsible for performing daily routine cleaning along with making sure the property is kept neat and presentable. Will often be working during business hours and interacting with customers. Will be responsible for paying close attention to detail, have the ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without being told, perform minor lifting/bending, be able to stand for long periods of time and able to communicate any concerns, issues, or needs to Supervisor, Franchise Manager, and/or Managers on-site. May be responsible for managing stock levels of janitorial products/supplies and breakroom products/supplies and performing light maintenance duties. Ensuring that all areas are kept to ZBLT Industries standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Restrooms: Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes all toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, and dispensers. Restocks toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and any other consumable requested by customers.
  • Breakrooms: Cleans, sanitizes and polishes all sinks, counters, tables, outside of appliances, and inside of microwaves. Restocks hand soap and paper towels.
  • Floors: Sweeps, vacuums, and mops all hard surface floors and carpet.
  • Furniture: Dusts and polishes furniture.
  • Windows: Cleans smudges from windows, partition glass, and doors.
  • Trash: Empties and replaces all trash liners.
  • Cleaning Supplies: Restocks supplies and reports shortages.
  • Ensures lobbies, entry ways, stairs, and elevators are free of debris.
  • Perform light maintenance duties.
  • Reports any maintenance issues to Facilities and/or Manager Onsite.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
