Job description

Summit School Services companies share a strong commitment to provide the highest level of transportation safety, quality transportation, outstanding customer service and positive employee relations. Our corporate headquarters, located in Warrenville, Illinois, houses the administrative and corporate support functions for the organization. Our 250 local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Retrieve and open mail; distribute to appropriate team or department member

  • Assist employees with benefit questions, enrollment procedures, required documents, and available resources.

  • Communicate with benefit vendors regarding enrollment, eligibility, billing, and data discrepancies.

  • Handle Opt Out payments for those eligible union employees.

  • Review vendor discrepancy reports and coordinate necessary corrections.

  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices for U.S. union and non-union plans and submit payment into Concur.

  • Process FSA enrollments and complete weekly FSA funding.

  • Oversee Cobra audit

  • Protect confidential employee, medical, financial, and benefit information.

  • Support benefit-related projects and perform other assigned duties.

  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Basic accounting, billing, or invoice-reconciliation knowledge.

  • Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet established deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow detailed procedures.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • One to three years of administrative, Human Resources, benefits, or data-entry experience.

  • Experience using an HR, payroll, benefits, or enterprise database such as Oracle.

  • Familiarity with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, HSA, or 401(k) plans.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA or employee-benefit privacy requirements.
