Job Title: Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift at $20.90/hr

Job Description

This 2nd shift Warehouse Associate role supports a modern manufacturing operation by performing a variety of material handling, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment tasks. You will work in a brand-new, climate-controlled facility, using forklifts, RF scanners, and ERP systems to ensure accurate and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Process internal orders by accurately picking parts and materials for production and other internal work orders.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including preparing and verifying bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips.
  • Utilize RF scanners to locate, pick, pack, and track inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Use ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or similar platforms, to enter and update data related to inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as pallet jacks and walkie riders, to move materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks with materials and products, ensuring proper handling, placement, and documentation.
  • Handle materials, including lifting, moving, and staging items up to 40 lbs, while following safety procedures.
  • Utilize pallet wrappers to secure loads for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory by following established picking, packing, and material handling procedures.
  • Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the use of required personal protective equipment, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of material handling or forklift experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience loading and unloading materials from trucks.
  • Proficiency operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
  • Experience using RF scanners for inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or similar data entry platforms.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis while performing warehouse duties.
  • Ability to use pallet wrappers to secure and prepare loads for storage or shipment.
  • Technological aptitude and comfort working with computerized systems and handheld devices.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr.
