Job description

Role:

Are you a skilled Iron Worker with a passion for precision and expertise in metal fabrication? Join the manufacturing team at Triton Metal Products and contribute to the production of high-quality metal components used in various industries. As an Iron Worker in our manufacturing metal fabrication department, you will play a pivotal role in creating components that drive innovation and functionality across different sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components according to engineering specifications and production requirements in a safe manner.
  • Operate metal fabrication equipment, including punching, sheering, and coping.
  • Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols and keeping equipment clean.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet precise standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements/Preferences:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or welding preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of different metals, their properties, and fabrication techniques.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to work with heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
