Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must pass Background Check, Physical, and Drug Screening
  • Ability to prove US citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency
  • 100% travel will be required

Responsibilities:
  • Follow all assigned Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures
  • Assist in basic mechanical installations, maintenances, inspections, and upgrades
  • Assist in performing work based on established work procedures
  • Assist in documenting all work performed
  • Report policy or procedure violation
  • Repair or replace parts as directed by the Lead Technician
  • Possess knowledge about specific tools and be able to use them safely
  • Occasionally work independently on a component as part of an equipment maintenance project
  • Travel as required (100%)
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license and clear driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Candidates must be able to climb a 300-foot tower multiple times per day
  • Candidates must be able to walk across the hub and, in the event of an emergency, rappel off
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 300+ feet
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing tanks, ladders, scaffolding, towers, piping systems, catwalks, structural steel, and wind turbines.
  • Must meet specific weight requirements of tower ladders under OSHA and/or industry standards of 250 to 300 lbs. max, including personal protective equipment (approx. 30 - 35 lbs.)
  • Must be able to see and move throughout site to resolve work problems and facilitate processes; repetitive motion activities may be involved.
  • Occasional kneeling and squatting
  • Frequent climbing, walking, and standing, and bending
  • Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Successful completion of climb test(s) and tower rescue training
