Where do RBT's make the most money?

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) tend to earn higher salaries in regions with a higher cost of living and greater demand for behavioral health services, such as urban areas or states with expanded healthcare funding. Salaries can also vary based on experience, certifications, and the work setting, including clinics or private practices. Generally, RBTs working in metropolitan areas or specialized clinics tend to have higher earning potential.

Why do RBTs quit?

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) often leave the role due to high emotional and physical demands, low pay, limited advancement opportunities, and challenging client behaviors. Job satisfaction can also be affected by workload, supervision quality, and work environment. Turnover is common in the field, especially when support and compensation are inadequate.

What do RBTs do day to day?

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Their daily tasks include collecting data on client behaviors, assisting with skill development, and providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, often in home or clinical settings. RBTs also document progress and follow specific protocols to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

A Day Shift RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) typically does not earn $4,000 weekly; most RBTs earn between $15 and $25 per hour. High-paying jobs that can reach $4,000 a week without a degree often include roles like sales managers, real estate brokers, or skilled trades such as electricians or plumbers, which may require certifications or experience but not necessarily a college degree. These positions often involve commission, bonuses, or overtime to achieve higher weekly earnings.

Job description

Elite ABA Therapy, LLC is an outpatient behavioral health center that provides one-on-one center-based Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children between the ages of 2 to 8 who have been diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental delays. We are located in Wilkes-Barre Twp, PA and operate year-round. We are closed on all federal holidays.

Elite ABA Therapy, LLC specializes in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, which are the most widely known evidence-based practices for teaching new skills and improving behavior. Our goal is to optimize our clients’ independence and promote social integration by teaching meaningful and socially significant skills in the least restrictive environment. Our clinic is designed to simulate an Early Intervention-like setting, but without academic curriculum. Teaching is completely individualized and based on the client’s needs identified in their treatment plan. Clients receive 1:1 individual services but are grouped with up to 7 other children to simulate a classroom. Each group of children follow a daily schedule of activities that include both individual and group formats. Individual activities include direct instruction of skill acquisition programs specified in the client’s individualized treatment plan, such as teaching communication skills. Group activities include circle time, structured play groups, and planned activities (music, arts and crafts, etc.) to work on social skills and generalizing learned skills to group settings.

The daily schedule is designed for 2 different sessions per day; the full-day program from 9-3:30, and the after-school session from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. However, part-time employees only work the 9-3/3:30 shift. Some clients leave at 3pm and some leave at 3:30pm, so your end time will fluctuate depending on client assignment.
