Job description

Cath Lab Technologist (Day Shift)
  • Location: Dallas, TX, 75226
  • Shift: 10-hr Days | 7:00 AM - 05:30 PM
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
  • Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
  • Maintain sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment.
  • Document procedure details and patient responses accurately.
  • Monitor and assess patient condition pre, intra, and post-procedure.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in performance improvement and compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's Degree OR 2 years of relevant work experience beyond the minimum qualifications.

Experience:

  • Less than 1 year of experience required.
  • Will consider Radiologic Technologists with Operating Room experience in a hospital setting.

Certifications/Licensure:

Must hold at least one of the following:

  • ARRT-R (Radiography) + MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist - Texas)
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
  • CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
  • CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)

Required Life Support Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – within 30 days of hire or transfer.
