Job description

CT Technologist (Outpatient) – Day Shift

Location: San Luis Obispo

Schedule: 13 Weeks | M-F 5*8s | 8:00am - 4:30pm


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated CT Technologist to support our outpatient imaging department. The ideal candidate will be confident operating independently with minimal training and comfortable working with Philips CT equipment.

This role involves performing CT imaging procedures along with additional radiology functions including bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy support.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for outpatient populations

  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation

  • Operate Philips CT equipment independently

  • Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain patient image integrity and HIPAA compliance

  • Support imaging workflow, equipment calibration, and inventory management

  • Assist with additional imaging procedures including:

    • Bone densitometry

    • General radiography

    • Fluoroscopy support

    REQUIREMENTS
  • ARRT Certification

    • R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)

  • California Radiologic Technologist license

  • BLS Certification (AHA)

  • Venipuncture certification

  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience

  • Ability to work independently with minimal orientation

  • Experience with Philips CT systems

  • Strong outpatient workflow experience

Preferred:
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology

  • Fluoroscopy license (required if operating fluoroscopy equipment)

  • Advanced CT Certification
