Day Shift Psychedelic Integration Coach Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Malvern Treatment Centers is currently seeking a full time, day shift (7am - 7:30pm) Nurses for our Malvern Treatment Center facility in Philadelphia. The location of our Malvern Treatment Center - Philadelphia is 3905 W. Ford Road - Philadelphia, PA 19131.

The schedule would be from 7:00am - 7:30pm on three (3) set days per week with an every other weekend commitment. This full time opportunity is a benefits eligible position! Malvern has recently increased the amount of their shift differentials starting at 3pm!

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for organizing and delivering individualized, professional nursing care to all patients as assigned. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, he or she provides nursing care following the multidisciplinary treatment plan, the policies and procedures of Malvern Treatment Centers, and the Nurse Practice Act. In addition, the Nurse maintains standards of nursing care as established, participates in patient teaching, and coordinates discharge planning. The ideal candidate for this position is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, holds a current and unencumbered license as an LPN in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and has some clinical experience in the treatment of addiction (preferred). In addition, current CPR certification and knowledge of the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Program and Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities standards is required.

Responsibilities include identifying and providing written assessments of patients on admission and throughout treatment, documenting current needs/problems and past medical, psychiatric, drug, and alcohol history, completing multidisciplinary assessments when needed, identifying and evaluating patients' learning needs, ability, and readiness to learn, formulating and using a written nursing care plan based on diagnosis, special patient outcomes, and appropriate nursing measures, integrating plan with multidisciplinary team and patient, demonstrating appropriate application of nursing skills during detoxification, administering and accounting for medications and controlled drugs, providing for patient safety through preventative measures, implementing fire safety, infection control, and isolation procedures when appropriate, responding to and directing emergency situations when necessary, implementing internal and external disaster plans when necessary, overseeing and helping provide instruction for patients, responding to and implementing special precautions/interventions for suicidal, homicidal, or aggressive patients until patient can be transferred, interacting with co-workers in a helpful manner that contributes to high morale, assessing, evaluating, and revising the written plan of care, delegating duties to staff members appropriately, obtaining and transcribing physician orders in an accurate and timely fashion and carrying them out in a timely manner, demonstrating flexibility regarding unexpected changes in work volume, emergencies, staffing, and scheduling changes, participating in continuing education to reach professional growth objectives, acting as a resource regarding patient care and specialty areas, participating in task forces and committees as assigned, helping problem solve with other team members, during off hours, performing duties of other departments to ensure smooth functioning of facility and adequate patient care, following all infection control practices, may give direction and provide feedback on the performance of Clinical Aides, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program, current LPN/RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, clinical experience in the treatment of addiction, knowledge of the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Program and Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities standards, strong organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ability to work in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental manner with staff and patients in order to gain confidence and cooperation, demonstrated proficiency at educating, communicating, and empathizing with patients, communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with patients, staff, and providers, ability to problem solve and work effectively with others, ability to function calmly in crisis situations, and current CPR certification.
