Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Professionally and personably engage with customers, showcasing passion for design and the company's products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the design studio assortment and seasonal merchandise.
  • Sales and Design: Provide decorating and styling techniques to shoppers. Capture appointment leads for design services. Conduct design consultations.
  • Design Plan Development and Presentation: Craft and present design plans tailored to clients' style, budget, and priorities.
  • Client Follow-Up: Maintain communication with clients throughout ordering and delivery. Follow up with clients for phase appointments, seasonal updates, and referrals.
  • Customer Service: Provide support with online returns, product information, credit applications and more, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Retail Operations: Efficiently handle register transactions, online orders, and online returns. Assist with visual merchandising and perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Performance Measures: Meet sales per hour, loyalty, and appointment goals. Meet other metric objectives to contribute to store success.
  • Store Morale: Work both independently and as a team member to exceed customer expectations and to support peers.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
