Job description

JOB TITLE: Staff RN Postpartum
REPORTS TO: Maternal Child Services Director
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for infants and adults. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Possesses critical thinking skills as demonstrated by ability to prioritize, problem solve, and communicate through chain of command. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred. BSN preferred. A minimum of one year of nursing experience in Maternal Child Services preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current California RN license and BLS certification. ACLS required within 90 days of hire or status change. NRP due within 60 days or hire or status change.
