Job description

Job Title:         Engineering Technician
Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Fargo, ND 58102
Duration:         2 Years (extension possible)
Shift:                Mon–Fri | 1st shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Work

  • Design and perform lab/field tests
  • Analyze test data and prepare reports
  • Program flying probe (TAKAYA software)
  • Install instruments and collect data
  • Support product design changes
  • Guide test operators

Major Duties

  • Inspect and test electronic assemblies
  • Perform failure and root cause analysis
  • Rework products per standards
  • Build test fixtures and harnesses
  • Manual PCB testing
  • Create/update test documents
  • Communicate issues to engineering
  • Train team members

Required Skills

  • PCB troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of electronics and manufacturing
  • Use of multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Read schematics and datasheets
  • Assemble/disassemble products
  • Excel and Word basics
  • Data analysis and documentation
