  • Submit claims, follow up on outstanding claims, and appeal denials using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Generate and manage patient invoices and statements
  • Oversee the patient portal, ensuring timely responses and accurate information
  • Assist with social media content creation and posting to increase community engagement
  • Perform light office cleaning and organization to maintain a welcoming environment
  • Support front-office operations and collaborate with the clinical team on administrative needs

Qualifications & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a medical or therapy office setting (speech pathology, pediatric therapy, or outpatient healthcare strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification, pre-authorization processes, medical billing, and claims follow-up
  • Proficiency with EMR systems
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional phone demeanor and outstanding written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with basic social media tools (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to support families and clinicians
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in medical coding/billing

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Flexible days/hours; 15+ hours/week
  • Professional development opportunities
  • A supportive, team-oriented workplace where your contributions directly impact patient care
  • The satisfaction of working in a meaningful field that improves lives every day

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
