Warwick Furnace Farm is a family-run lavender farm located in northern Chester County, PA. We are looking for sales associates with a dynamic, positive personality and strong sales experience to join our small team and represent our brand at Philadelphia farmers markets primarily in Rittenhouse Square and Chestnut Hill.
This is a part-time position on Saturdays, with opportunities for growth for the right candidate. Must be able to work at least two Saturdays per month, and be willing to dress according to the historic, all-natural aesthetic of our brand. Farmers market staff receive a base pay of $15/hour, plus commission based on market day sales.
Customer Engagement:
Warm customer sales / service, engaging in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Demonstrate and educate customers about our lavender products, including their uses, benefits, as well as our farm story.
Encourage customers to sign up for our mailing list and social profiles etc.
Sales and Transactions:
Manage point-of-sale, including processing transactions, providing change, and emailing receipts to customers.
Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory levels throughout the market day
Market Booth Setup and Management:
Pick up, transport, and set up market booth to brand specifications to create an inviting artful display.
Monitor and manage inventory levels during market hours.
Return unsold items to the farm at the end of each market day, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Attributes:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
