Professional Staff Nurse (RN) – Chemotherapy & Infusion Therapy (Day Shift) – Cranberry Township, PA
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits; not a temporary job)
Location: Cranberry Township, PA 16066 (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (No evenings, weekends, or holidays!)
New Hire Starting Base Pay: $36.50 – $38.64 per hour (Starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways via the Nursing Career Ladder.)
Future Earning Potential: Established employees have the opportunity to earn progressive pay increases up to $45.04 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Chemotherapy & Infusion Administration: Safely mix, verify, and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive intravenous medications following strict NCI, ONS, and OSHA safety protocols.
- Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Evaluate clinical, physical, and psychological status for oncology patients prior to and during infusion treatments, monitoring closely for adverse reactions or side effects.
- Relationship-Based Care & Patient Education: Partner with patients and families to deliver specialized education regarding cancer diagnoses, treatment regimens, symptom management, and home care transitions.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate directly with oncologists, advanced practice providers, clinical trial coordinators, and pharmacists to adjust treatment plans and maintain seamless care continuity.
- Vascular Access & Line Care: Manage central venous access devices (PICC lines, Mediports) and perform peripheral IV insertions with high technical precision.
What We’re Looking For – Minimum Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of Registered Nurse (RN) clinical experience required; prior oncology nursing experience and proficient IV/vascular access skills strongly preferred.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with IV insertion, central line management, EMR documentation, specialized infusion equipment, and clinical assessment tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of relationship-based care models, adult learning principles, evidence-based nursing practice, and patient safety guidelines.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional clinical judgment, strong critical thinking, empathetic communication, and the ability to thrive in a high-touch outpatient oncology clinic.
- Licensure & Clearances: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA (or multistate NLC license / Temporary Practice Permit); Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire; Act 34 PA Criminal Record Check; ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification or OCN preferred.
