Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Residential Counselor to join our behavioral health residential team. This role supports residents in a structured, therapeutic environment and helps promote safety, stability, and progress toward treatment goals during the day shift.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support residents in daily routines and scheduled activities
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic living environment
  • Observe resident behavior and report concerns to clinical staff
  • Assist with implementing treatment plans and behavioral interventions
  • Complete required documentation, logs, and shift reports
  • Support medication monitoring per agency policy 
  • Communicate effectively during shift handoffs and team meetings
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or human services preferred
  • Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
