Job Description

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment. This position requires repair and maintenance to maintain the building/facility, and production machinery/equipment in the facility.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide hands-on support through troubleshooting equipment faults to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
  • Complete all required reporting and documentation.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental/Health and Safety
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all Production Equipment
  • Inspecting mechanical and electrical components
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • GED or Diploma
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding, cutting, and fabrication.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Maintenance Manufacturing environment or five years of heavy automotive mechanic experience (oil/gas field, truck/bus/water, etc.) or a combination of related heavy automotive technical training and experience

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

  • Standing for long periods of time, walking throughout the facility, ability to lift 50lbs as required.
