The Cedars at Broadwell is hiring full and part-time Housekeeper Attendant. Successful candidate will be part of an incredible, team-oriented environment with a strong Environmental Services Director with numerous years of experience.

Housekeeper Requirements:

  • Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety.

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.

  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.

  • Remove trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.

  • Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents.

  • Solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.

  • Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.

  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.

  • Completes job related tasks assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director.

Housekeeper Experience:

  • Have a proven record of making responsible decisions with the resident's best interest in mind at all times.

  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Effectively worked with professional personnel from outside contractors.

  • A proven history of relating well with residents and their families.

  • Used caution in performing duties and maintained safe working practices.

  • Proficient with cleaning supplies and/or chemicals and their uses.

  • Knowledge of professional cleaning equipment, supplies, and common house cleaning devices such as brooms, mops.

  • Must be clean, tidy, and appropriately dressed.

  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.
