American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Snellville, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Sep 8, 2026 Length: 14 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2 years of experience and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certification for a cardiac catheterization lab position. Details Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 3 rooms and 5 beds Adult to geriatric patient population Average daily census of 8-10 patients Procedures include diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants (no EP studies or ablations) Uses GE Discovery imaging system, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment Epic EMR required, with Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge preferred 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified May float within department and facility, including to a sister campus 10 call days per month required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience scrubbing heart caths and devices Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certification required GA or Compact RN license required if applicable Epic charting system experience required Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment required EKG lead placement, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythm skills required Experience obtaining vitals required Pacemaker experience preferred Prior travel healthcare experience required Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) strongly preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing Scrubs provided by the facility Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, and all RTO must be finalized at time of submission No RTO requests permitted during orientation week or after offer/onsite Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate First-time travelers will not be accepted for this role Candidates with prior Perm/Per Diem/FCSS employment at any Piedmont facility must be separated for one full year before applying as a traveler Returning travelers who were previously cancelled or issued a DNR must complete one assignment outside of Piedmont before reapplying Full compliance required to start on time, with a two-week delay possible if not met due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling Shift and contract length are firm with no alternate schedule requests permitted Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit American Traveler Job ID P-736337.
