Industrial Millwright Mechanic
Industrial Millwright Mechanic
IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will provide millwright services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.
Responsibilities
• SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus.
• Rigging and signal person
• read and interpret blue prints
• Industrial maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of drives, gear boxes, couplings and precision alignment
• Operate aerial and powered fork truck lifts.
• Perform predictive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment
• Emergency repairs
• Precision alignment
• Repair and replace parts/components
• Safety oriented
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Skills
  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements
  • Critical Thinking
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts
