Description 

This project involves the upgrading and redesigning of the current HMIS application for OTDA.

Duties 

  • Assist in the day-to-day collection, validation, and entry of data from various sources into centralized databases.
  • Perform routine data cleaning and standardization tasks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Help enforce data governance policies and naming conventions under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Conduct basic data quality checks, identify anomalies or duplicates, and report issues to senior team members.
  • Assist in documenting data sources, definitions, and lineage (data dictionaries, metadata).
  • Execute complex queries (using SQL or similar) to extract data for reports or analysis as requested.
  • Assist in the monitoring of data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, flagging any failures.
  • Perform regular database backups and support restoration tests.
  • Help with user access management, granting basic permissions following approved requests.
  • Support the migration and archiving of data according to retention policies.
  • Generate and distribute standard reports and dashboards using tools
  • Support other teams (e.g., Analytics, Marketing, Operations) by providing clean, reliable datasets for their projects.
  • Participate in meetings to understand data needs and communicate updates on data status.
  • Assist in preparing data for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain detailed logs of data management activities and issues.
  • Stay updated on company data policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Proactively learn new data management tools and technologies as required.
  • Complete all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Mandatory Requirements 

  • Experience (15+ Years)
  • Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

Requirements 

  • This is an 100% Onsite.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • 84 months experience designing application architecture, developing & deploying n-tier asp.Net Web apps using vb.net web services and Windows Communication Foundation.
  • 84 months experience analyzing business processes and workflows; and working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve issues.
  • 60 months experience using Oracle and PL/SQL packages including SQL programming and JSON.
  • 36 months experience as a Web GUI designer including accessibility complaince and using Angular Single Page Applications (SPA), Redux, Angular versions 9 thru 14.
  • 24 months experience development applications relating to government human service eligility systems.
  • 24 months experience using object-oriented principles and concepts to design complex business objects.
  • 36 months experience using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • 36 months exerience development applications utilizing MVC.Net.
  • Project Management Professional Certification
