Job description

We are seeking an experienced Wiring Systems Engineer to spearhead the development, integration, validation, and release of advanced vehicle electrical distribution systems (EDS).

In this role, you will look beyond individual components to optimize the entire electrical backbone of the vehicle—encompassing wiring harnesses, connectors, splices, grounding, power distribution, and high-speed communication networks. Working closely with vehicle architecture, packaging, manufacturing, and tier‑1 suppliers, you will ensure robust electrical performance and seamless system integration throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Requirements: Develop and manage comprehensive vehicle wiring system requirements and electrical distribution architecture.

  • System Integration & Release: Support the end‑to‑end design, packaging, validation, and official engineering release of complex wiring harness systems.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between engineering disciplines, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to swiftly resolve packaging, electrical, and manufacturing conflicts.

  • Quality & Validation: Lead and support DFMEA, DVP&R, physical system testing, and rigorous root cause investigations.

  • Launch & Production Support: Drive issue resolution on the ground during prototype builds, vehicle launches, and ongoing production.

  • Lifecycle Management: Efficiently manage engineering changes (ECN) and guarantee total compliance with corporate standards and engineering processes.

  • Supplier Governance: Partner closely with global component suppliers to develop, mature, and validate critical electrical system components.
